Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the app “IceNote” (the “App”) provided by Lumicode (the “Provider”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all use of the App. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

2. Your account

You can start using the App with an anonymous account. If you don’t link it to Apple or Google, your records may be lost when you delete the App or change devices. You are responsible for managing your account.

3. Minors

Minors should use the App with a parent’s or guardian’s consent. For children under 13, a parent or guardian should set up and manage the App.

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Anything illegal or against public order
  • Placing excessive load on, or gaining unauthorized access to, the App or its servers
  • Reverse engineering, modifying or redistributing the App
  • Impersonating others or entering other people’s information without their consent
  • Anything else the Provider reasonably considers inappropriate

5. Rink information

Rink information in the App is compiled from publicly available sources. Opening days, hours and public sessions can change, so please check each rink’s official website before you go.

6. Paid features: IceNote Pro

  • IceNote Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). Prices are shown on the purchase screen in the App
  • New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. When it ends, the plan you chose is charged to your Apple ID
  • The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription
  • Purchases, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple’s App Store and are subject to its terms, including the Apple Standard EULA
  • People who started using the App before billing began (on or before October 6, 2026) can use the Pro features for free

7. Changes and discontinuation

The Provider may change, suspend or discontinue the App without prior notice. Where possible, we will announce discontinuation in advance in the App.

8. Disclaimer

  • The App is provided “as is”. The Provider does not guarantee that it is free of bugs, fit for a particular purpose, or that records will never be lost
  • Records and statistics are for reference only. Consult your coach or a medical professional about training and health decisions
  • Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Provider is not liable for damages arising from use of the App

9. Changes to these Terms

The Provider may update these Terms as needed. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The district court with jurisdiction over the Provider’s address shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
